I don't figure too many people actually go through these lengths to figure out the actual CG while flying their cubs, but ....out of curiosity I was reading through the military manual for my L4H Cub and came across the weight and balance sheet. Thought what the heck I'll throw in a few numbers, been a while since I utililyzed such things as arm and moment anyway. Got to the end of my endeaver then realized I'm missing a key piece of information- what the heck is mean aerodynamic chord and what is that figure for my plane. I know its the average distance from leading edge to trailing edge of the wing, but that's about the extent of my knowledge on this one. Anyone out there have any background with this? Occording to my manual my CG limits can't exceed a certan % M.A.C.
