Hey everyone,

At the recomendation of Jim Rice, I recently bought two manuals that I wish I'd had 3 years ago when I started this thing. FM 6-150 Organic Field Artillery Air Observation(1944) and
FM 6-135 Field Artillery Forward Observation(1944). If you really want to understand what these airplanes did in the Army Ground Forces, these are two indispensible references. It's
one thing to read Ken's books but to get the Army's take on the subject, you have to read these two. These will give you the details of what the pilot and observer did every day. It's
worth it just to get the pattern for the recommended control locks.

They're both available on CD from biblio.com

Paul
