Hello,
I’ve owned a 1942 J3 reed clip wing with an 85 and a 1952 super cub with a 160… much preferred the J3. If ANYBODY hears chance of a clipped wing for sale… PLEASE let me know. Not looking for aerobatics… just a fun plane. My clip wing cruised at 120 indicated (but it was painted with imron… I waxed it… and it was WAY prior to GPS… so dial might have been lying) so I want a fast one… and would love a left window fold up.. like mine or a left wing “seaplane “ door. Thanks for your help guys… working on insurance and hangar now . Mine was hand prop.. prefer that too to save weight. I have cash… sold my entire 30 year gun collection.
