The 5th annual Grassroots Fly-in will be held Saturday, September 12 at the Lincoln , Missouri Municipal Airport . This year's fly-in will be honoring the memory of The late Bart Brown and Leroy Donley -2 people who helped general aviation be promoted in this area .The fly-in will run from dawn to late afternoon ,with food served 10 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.. Pilots flying- in, eat free . There will be door prizes awarded & Young Eagle flights will be given . Past fly-ins have brought in many interesting and different types of aircraft- -including some nice Cubs . Our airport [0R2] is located 20 miles South of Sedalia ,Mo. along US 65 highway --Runways 18-36 2940' X125' grass ,CTAF 122.9. All proceeds will be used to make improvements and preserve the field as it is one of the few public grass airfields left in the state . Everyone please come on out and make this one our best fly-in yet .
