I’ve just been advised by the Helena FSDO that they will no longer provide an A/W certificate for a plans built (as opposed to kit built) Light Sport Cub. They will approve the standard experimental Cub but not the Light Sport. I find this hard to believe. Any DAR’s out there that want to comment or anyone for that matter?

Thank you,
Sarpy Sam
