Lower door drafty when closed? Fix it with a genuine leather lower door seal! After having terrible luck with the fit of the Naugahyde door seals similar to this one: http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/appages/doorseals5.php , I opted to have leather door seals made from soft, sturdy black leather.

Unlike the Naugahyde version, the black leather ones don't need the second piece of material sewn in to cover up the unsightly appearance of the back side of the material. It has made for an ideal seal for my less than straight lower door.

These seals are made oversize, so you can trim/fit to account for any variations you may have or to cover up any traces of old door seal glue.

Installation instructions included. Satisfaction Guaranteed.

$40 each plus $5 shipping. PM me or send me an email at timothy DOT farris AT gmail DOT com

Installed- All material that pokes out is black- no more fighting with that little strip of naugahide!

I'm sure he appreciates the spam bots now being able to pick it up! ::)

Folks spell it out to make it readable to humans but not to automated programs scouring the Internet for email addresses.

It seems I totally missed all the traffic about my email address........anywho....I'll be at Sentimental Journey. Hoping for the WNC fly-in, but have the '46 cub about finished for my friend, and we'll be flying it right around that time (hopefully sooner).

I have to fly with the door closed with David Johnson in the airplane- it helps me resist the urge to dump him out!

I'm now sold out of the door seals. I'm collecting a list of people for the next production run, so if you'd like to be on that list, let me know.

Thanks,
Tim
