Hello everybody!
If this post belong to an other forums, feel free to move it.
I just bought a fairly good set of landing gear Vee very cheap for my Experimental L4 replica project.
All the dimensions match the Piper drawing #10033 except that the axles end up been about 1.5" lower than the 19.5" called by Piper from the mounting bolt to the center of the axles and the wheel base wider by about 4 ".
My question is do I have an original Piper Cub/L4 L/G ? Maybe a different version from early to late or something that have absolutely nothing to do with Cub.
Any insight appreciated. Thanks,
Didier.
