I am repainting my boot cowl stencils and have been looking at Keri-Ann's and Blue Leader's photos to see what was actually being done. Ken Wilson has great stencils, and they are made according to the drawings, but they aren't quite a match for what the pictures show. For example, his "Fuel 12 U.S. GALS. 73 OCTANE" stencil is too wide to fit in the area next to the gas cap. There's too much space between the groups of letters. I had to scrunch it up a bit to get it to work. Also, the letters are centered on each other, whereas the photos show them lined up on the left. Then there is the infamous dashed red line. In the drawing, it is shown to be six 1 inch dashes with 1/4 inch spacing between them. However, if you look at the photos, the dashed line is seven dashes with 1/4 inch space. The only way to fit 7 dashes in the space you have there is to make them 3/4 inch.
