Many of you are aware that Dick Hall took a bunch of photos of a J model he restored in various stages of undress and that, with pictures of other L-4s, combined those photos and put them on a disk that is available through the Cub Club.

Some people have reported that they couldn't find the disk on the list of available item from the Club. I have been in contact with Jamie at CC, and he says it is still available, so if anyone wants a copy, get hold of him.

On another note, I have my copy of the disk, and I noticed long ago that it is fairly limited in scope, in that the pictures are of completed or nearly completed airframes, all covered. I would like to expand that a bit, to include restorations in various stages of completion, uncovered. If you've never gotten up to your armpits in a wing, for example, of if you've never had to rebuild an aileron hinge. What does it look like. That sort of thing.

When I did mine, I didn't think to take many pictures, so what I propose is that any of you that have detailed shots of the inner workings of your restoration, or of things that you had problems with or just about anything that you think would help a new guy with their restoration, please send me your pictures and I will collect them and send them on to the CC for them to include in the expanded disk. Best if you send them by email to N36973 at hotmail dot com.

I'm not going to be able to edit or rework them, so if they are dark, or too light or out of focus, that's going to be pretty much as they are submitted. Of course, CC will have the final say as to what goes in and what doesn't.

Thanks
