In Remembrance 2023
Got word last might that Ken Wakefield, author of the three great books on the history of Liaison aircraft has died. He went west knowing he made a difference. He was always approachable and will be greatly missed. Ken was the one who dug up the history of my airplane. I was honored to work with him on his last book, "The Other Ninth Air Force", and was able to contribute in a small way.
