J5 Bungees

Does anyone have any knowledge of bungees on a J5? I've got a light J5 (around 850) with 3 bungees. Each time I roll over a bump on landing or take off I feel like I'm either jostled around or launched in to the air. I feel like things should be a little cushier. I even have 25" tires.

Perhaps 2 bungees would be better? I never load the plane to gross so I can't see that it would be a big problem. Not sure what else I can do to eliminate the "basketball" bounce!
