Last month I happened (small world this aviation is) to sit next to Mark Erickson of Dakota Cub during a dinner out west. He said that Dakota Cub is developing 11 gallon wing tanks for the J3 and that I should look for their approval this fall. I called him on the phone the other day and he said that Dakota Cub would show them at the Oshkosh Airventure next week. I will not be going but would hope some of you folks would and could take some pictures there. Perhaps you could find out even more about the various installation options they will put to the FAA. One that I'm interested in is putting two wing tanks in and not having the forward fuselage tank at all. Mark said that is one of the options.
