J3 project.
Airplane pulled from tiedowns in the late 80's.
C85-12, 33SMOH, no damage engine and prop, pickled since accident.
Wings mostly a total loss.
Most of tail section welded in about 10 years ago. Never painted or coated so lots of surface rust.
Complete paperwork.

I am selling for a friend who passed away so I can only answer basic questions.
Every part is here. The fuselage needs sandblasted, then some final welding. FWF is done. I'd probably just start over with the wings. (There is a set on this site for $2500)

The price is $7000.00
Yes, that's less than what the paperwork and engine are worth. The fuselage is rough and rusty. The ribs are beat, but repairable. Wood spars are gone. Boot cowl great, Tailsurfaces look good, ailerons smashed. All other parts, pieces look fine. New axles in box and boxes of fabric stuff go with.

I'm not an a-hole, but PLEASE don't call if you aren't extremely serious. I'm not a J3 guy really, and the widow doesn't know much about it. We are trying to clean out the widow's garage, not make money.

Thanks for looking
