My friend has a restored 1946 J3, the heel brake barely clear the sides of the front seat and are hard (but not impossible) to activate. Is there a longer lever available, has anyone made extensions? It almost looks like they were mounted about 1” too far inboard, or a wider seat was installed in the front.
