1937 Piper J2 "TaylorCub" Restoration Project,
304 hours total time with 40 HP Continental A40-5 dual mags, 28 hours running time since major overhaul (in 1958) steerable tail wheel & brakes. In storage since 1968. The fabric is removed from fuselage & tail feathers, (tubing in great shape) the wings have had mice chewing at the spars so the spars will need to be replaced. The engine turns freely & has compression. Logs from mid 1950s nothing before.N20101, S/N: 1901. NOTE! there are two pictures of a completed J-2 in the pictures section, they are an example of what this will look like when completed. This aircraft is dissassembled and ready for restoration. It's all there, nothing missing. I just have too many projects going & need to sell. Please inspect before you bid, easy access to I-75 & US Hwy 90 this auction will sell to the highest bidder No Reserve! You Bid you Own, Good Luck!
