I am restoring a J-5A from a collection of parts. Does anyone here know where the fabric interior terminates on each side at the forward ends? I have seen a couple of different examples but don't know which way Piper did it, or which way might work best. Does the fabric extend to the tubing at the firewall? Or just to the U channel that the aft end of the boot cowl attaches to? Or maybe the diagonal tube that runs from the front of the lower longeron up to the first cluster on the upper longeron?
Any thoughts or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Bill
