Yeah, I'm not using AVEMCO. I'm using Ladd Gardner Insurance and he shopped around for me quite a bit.
Ryan, being from Texas and all, isn't it Lone Star blasphemy if you used anyone but Ladd?:)

I didn't bother with solo insurance because I found out the hard way that all the pilots who swear they'll fly the wings off that Cub if you put it on the line, quietly disappear when you tell em' it's now available for solo rental at $100+/hour.

It's been gone over here before, but people expect because it's a Cub, that it should be dirt cheap. This ain't the 60s anymore (no disrespect Bob, I know you still live there:eek:)

I use Avemco for quotes. If you let them give you a mailed or online quote they send you a baseball cap.
Other than that they have been 30% higher than many others.

Ladd Gardner Ins. and Cannon Ins. have merged. Now listed as being in Addison, TX. I havn't talked to Ladd since last fall so it happened after that.

Still working with the Cub down in Boerne, in fact quite a bit. Hope to be able to restart some Taylorcraft stuff as well in the near future.

And it finally looks like I'm going to be going full time in the Taylorcraft with it being my own bird. Sniff sniff, sorry Cub.

Well at least it was designed by the same guy that designed the Cub originally.
