I get about half the battery life with my Icom IC-A6 from an overnight charge as I have in the past and am wondering if anyone has any thoughts/experience with Sporty's SP-400. It seems that the SP-400 might be much easier to use - just type in the frequency needed. I try visiting any airport within my bladder range but found it hard to add frequencies in flight (or even remembering how to do it) , especially in gusty conditions, with the ICOM-A6. It might not be available or even possible but it would be neat to have easy access to more than 5 airport frequencies with their associated AWOSs.
