On Monday morning in work at 8 am I received a phone call from Spencer from Lock Haven PA. It is one of the calls that no one never hopes to get. My good friend Dave McCormick and his friend Doug Cromley were killed in a bi-plane crash Sunday evening the 11th at Jersey Shore PA airport.https://wnep.com/2019/08/12/victims-in-lycoming-county-plane-crash-identified/
There are no words to describe the hollowness in my heart when I hear the news. I cannot imagine what their families are going through with their loss.
Dave was the first one at SJ to befriend me and take me flying in his KitFox. Dave had the personality that when you talked with him it felt like you knew each other for years. Next year at SJ will not be the same without him. I will miss you dearly my friend.
