Hey Gang!

Does anyone have a good solution to hook up a handheld to a larger battery for an extended flight? I have an iCom ICA6 in the L4 and it works super. I replace the battery once a year because they just stop holding a charge. For putting around my busy little airport it's fine. But I'd like to go further and I like to talk and listen. Is there a creative solution? The down side to this radio is that it doesn't transmit if it is plugged into it's charger. Has anyone found an adaptor that I can maybe run to a marine battery? I know there are smart folks out there. What say you?
