Please come join us for our second annual "Fly in and Pig Out" Fly In and whole hog roast Saturday May 13. Fly in on Friday and camp, fire pits (wood provided) Last year we had about 60 airplanes, most vintage and homebuilt but not a single cub! This is bad. If y'all get several cubs to come together, I'll make a Cub only parking section. The fly in is sponsored by Vintage Aerocrafters LLC. We are a restoration facility specializing in dope and fabric, structural welding and woodwork. We are currently restoring a Stinson SR-5 (early Gullwing) that was once flown by Amelia Earhart, and a Travel Air 4-D flown by Charles Lindberg, and others. Giving Stearman Rides again this year. We are currently constructing a 2500'x75 ' grass runway ( thanks to our super pro airport city council) that parallels our existing runway... it's still being leveled, rolled and seeded but should be usable by then, it just depends on rain. Please check first. Lowest fuel prices. Come enjoy the fun, friendship and food. Please mark your calendar and spread the word. For more info call Jim at (361)772-6434 or email [email protected]. Look for more on socialflights as well. Thanks, Jim
