My ‘46 J3 with a 75hp Continental is in annual. IA won’t sign off, because the Gascolator is off a Cessna 140.
Logbooks go back to 1950, and do not mention it.
Found an AD list from 1984 that references AD 46-37-02? stating it was previously complied with, due to “Cessna 140 strainer installed”. I’m guessing it’s been on the Cub for almost 40 years.
Thoughts?
