Thanks for the lead...Im told no logs, engine hasn't run in moons and no bill of sale..how does one approach the paperwork on this...doesnt the FAA want a continuous record of ownership? This "N" number was de-registered

Any recommendations?

Do a title search on it to see if there are any problems. You can probably re-register it with the same N-number if it hasn't been reassigned. If it has, you will need to get a new N-number.

More bad news.....no logs, no N number, no airworthiness, no reg, no known previous owner, airplane from Turkey, never had an N number...what the heck do you do with this? Does have tags on engine and airframe.

Could be worth it in parts alone if its all there and the parts are in airworthy condition. Shoot the Fuselage alone could be worth that IF there are no repairs needed......

Ive been talking with Steve Alcorn...doesn't sound too interested in selling...requested pics 4 days ago...still nothing...all above info I got was from Steve himself...no paperwork, no logs, no airworthiness, tag was removed (why?), he said airplane was likely from Turkey....."Steve, what's the history of this?" His reply..."Looks good!" No joke
