I have just topped up my brake cylinders, and while re-lacing the front seat sling it occurred to me that I have done it for years without knowing the 'official' method. I lace each side diagonally through every second hole, starting one side from the rear and the other from the front. I then bring each end through the center hole and tie them together in the middle. Does anybody know the 'factory' way to do this? It is not in the service manual and I wonder if there is any document describing it.
