Well I got some dual time in a J 3 and the thing gave me fits. The only plane I had flown in the last 12 years was my Cessna 140 and a Symphony I use to get BFR's. So I was a little nervous taking the L 4 up solo the first time. No need. We came together pretty quick. Still trying to perfect the 3 pointer but I honestly cant remember having this much fun flying in ages. I am going out to the airport right at sun rise and flying a couple hours and again a couple hours before sun set. So far I have logged 8 hours on her. Only one rigging issue with a warp in the left aileron. Not sure why but we will figure it out. Other than that just a lot of good flying. This plane talks to you. No instruments are really needed except the oil press/ temp really.

Here is a not so good pic of her, one of the happy pilot and a sun set from an L 4. Does it get any better than this?
