I did a full day's work by noon today, and told my boss I was out of there. It was just too nice to spend a Friday in Baltimore. Two hours later I was in Front Royal, VA, getting my Cub ready to go hunt for floaters. They should be out on a nice hot day like today!

Yep, only about two miles south of the airport I spotted a covey of them floaters, spread all along the river.

A little high as I came up to the first group. They didn't look too friendly.

But the next group - they were rafted together. That's usually a sign of gettin' friendly! Lets go down a little and check out who has bathing suits still on!

Oh, oh, on the second pass they headed for the trees! Ha!

Good floater hunting today. Can't post the closer pictures. That bunch on the orange tubes was really enjoying the sun.

Nothing like a J3 for fun flying.
