I have just completed the ferry flight from YKM (Yakima, WA) to RYY (Kennesaw, GA) in Sport Cub #77; N316CC. What a GREAT way to see the country!! I encourage all of you to do this, at least once in your flying life. After 40 years of flying, I have to say this is one of the most enjoyable trips I have ever taken! My friend Gary Austin and I flew through WA, OR, ID, UT, WY, NE, KS, MO, AR, TN, AL, and GA. We have flown over mountains (at 12,000 ft.), valleys, prairies, farm lands, oil fields, wind generators, floods, deserts, and everything in between. You guys have gotta DO THIS!!

On another topic, but partly the same, Cubcrafters will be having it's Fall Open House on September 20th. There is a lot of discussion in YKM about having as many owners as possible make the trip in their Sport Cubs. It is a LONG way (21-1/2 hours from Atlanta), but worth the time and expense if you want a true flying vacation.

Fly Safe!!
