After looking at old threads, it seems the EZ-Heat is one of the easiest and least expensive options.

At what temperature non-preheat am I generally good to go down to before I really -should- heat?

Any experience with the EZ-Heat pad peeling off the kidney sump and obstructing things? Seems like that is a possibility.

Generally, is some preheating better than none?
