I own a 2007 Legend Cub registered as a SLSA. I would like to change my cigarette lighter power plug from 1 amp to 2.4 amp for charging ipad. Running a larger wire would be required and a larger fuse. I am told that I would need to have a letter of authorization from the manufacturer to comply with SLSA rules. In addition, I would like to add ADS-B which would also require such a letter. I have been unable to get someone at Legend to call me back on this issue. My option is to convert to ELSA, which I would rather not do. Has anyone else had the same problem with acquiring these LOA's from Legend?
