I am making dummy batteries for the artillery radio carried in L-4s. The BA-39 and BA-40. They are made from Styrofoam and wrapped in stiff cardboard like my originals. The labels are identical. The receptacles are resin cast from originals and are drilled to accept the plugs from the Y cable. $25 apiece.

Ps- Absolutely guaranteed not to need recharging for the life of the radio!
