Way back in early 1980s I would be taking flying lessons outside of the Stapleton TCA. Denver area. Occasionally the flight instructor and I would practice bouncing in the air breaking over the Rockies and fly up to Cheyenne WI and go for lunch at an old plane that was turned into a restaurant. We were not in a J3, but it was a 2 seater plane.
Does anyone know if that restaurant is still there? Has anyone else ever been there?
