has anyone heard the fact that some J3 cubs from the factory with float attachments (rear) are different from those without? I believe ther is no difference except for the rear float attach points being there for the float planes?
different fuse tubes etc.?

I have heard that the "S" model J3's from the factory had "metalized" fuselage frames. I am of the understanding that this was like galvanizing to protect from corrosion. Never seen one though.
