About the only part on my '46 J3 fuselage that I haven't replaced yet is the front seat frame. It is in similar condition to that of the old fuselage that I junked. Even if it had no rust or repairs, the front seat frame looks awfully flimsy.

My question is if I'm going to replace it what do you all recommend. Get a replica from Univair, Wage Aero, etc. or is there a better way to deal with the frame. I'd like to see something a bit more solid even at the risk of another couple pounds.
