Crow Island in Stow, MA is having their annual flyin. Camping welcome from Friday 8/11 to Sunday 8/13, but we will cook out on Saturday the 12th.
Saturday August 12th
Airport ID is 8MA4
Right pattern for 29 and left pattern for 11
Roughly 2000' grass strip
Minuteman Airport 6B6 is just north, and best fuel prices in the area. Nice restaurant too if wife prefers better food.
Please avoid homes to the west of Crow Island to keep the neighbors happy. If you can enter via 45-90 to mid-downwindfrom the North that would be great.
Remember, there are ultralights, hang gliders, trikes and gyros in the area of Crow Island with marginal radios or none at all so keep eye out for the slow moving aircraft in the pattern and outside the area.
We will have a cookout with hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and other goodies on Saturday starting when people arrive. Feel free to bring a dish to liven it up a bit. I hear its rain or shine so guess you have to drive if it rains...
