Just got a Cub fuselage covered and am contemplating rib stitching the vertical stabilizer. The top rib obviously needs to be ribstitched. The second rib seems to be 1/2-3/4” inside the fabric. I’m wondering if I should stitch it not tightly but just enough to stabilize the fabric? A tight stitch at that point would create a bowl(if you will) and distort the shape of the tail it appears to me. I looked at the Super Cub and it has no stitching on the second rib. What are you folks doing here?
Thanks,
Sarpy Sam
