I am making a huge assumption, based on years of watching Trade-A-Plane, helping friends get Cubs, etc. I am assuming that a flying Cub with logs and no liens bottoms out at 30 grand. I am assuming that one could get one fully assembled with all parts including engine functional, but not licensable, for between 20 and 30, and basket cases between 10 and 20.
I have suggested to several folks that a 90-105 Super Cub without flaps, airworthy, bottoms out at 30, and tops out at 55 for new cover and engine.
Anybody have any thoughts to the contrary?
