Hey Guys, I have an electric Pre-heater from Aircraft Spruce on the way, ordered the plate that covers the oval hole underneath the prop and an Oil Tank Blanket from Wag-Aero as well. What else can I do to help keep Oil Temps up in Winter Flying?

Any chance Wag Aero/Spruce/Univair sells a plate like this? Couldn’t find anything

taking the J-3 from my home airport about an hour away to the really pretty Aeroflex-Andover airport this Friday but temps are going to be lower 30s......

I know I want oil temp at 90°F before T/O but whats Ideal Temp in cruise.

thanks
