About noon today I called Jim Newton by cell phone to see where he was flying to on this beautiful clear high pressure area day. He was already at Grant County Airport, Petersburg, WV with another SuperCub; come on over for lunch. Well, it's about 50 miles due west of Front Royal, across numerous mountain ridges which required 4,500' to clear, and there was a head wind. I got there just as the two SCs were taxing out. They shut down and we talked a few minutes. However, they decided to fly up to Cumberland for lunch since a CAP exercise made it crowded at Grant County. That is another 50 miles north east, and then it would be 55 back to FRR, so I gave up the chase. Someday I will have lunch with those SuperCubers!

Thanks for the visit, Jim and John.
