Request some of the collective wisdom on this website. I have a 1947 PA-11 with C-90-12F. Engine is running ambient temperature plus 140F at 2250-2400 RPM. Aeroshell W100 Plus filled to 4 quarts. Ambient temp at takeoff 78F. Oil temp at initial takeoff 110F, oil pressure 38psi. Climb to 1000 AGL/1400MSL. Cruise for 15 minutes. At takeoff plus 15 minutes Oil Temp has gradually increased to 220F and oil pressure has gradually dropped to 30psi. At idle in subsequent landing pattern, Oil Pressure drops to 10-12psi. Engine has 200 hours since major overhaul. Three A&Ps have looked at the baffles and pronounced them very good. Timing was just recently adjusted at annual, and no improvement noted. As an aside, in winter, on a 30F degree day, I struggle to get the oil temperature above 180F. Please help. Thanks.
