So next week we make the decisions. Sky-tek or B&C. One solenoid or two. Portable battery and STC for just the starter, or buy one of those field approval forms.

One of the engines is definitely set up for B&C. I have used Sky-Tek and except for the sheared pin on kick back I like them.

The battery will be an Odyssey - installed as a portable. I am thinking a master solenoid for protection, and a starter solenoid hooked to the start button.

I know a bunch of these have already been done - just looking for opinions before I send my check. We are doing two, at the same time, more or less.

I could probably put it off another year or two, but my buddy has a dislocated shoulder, and is propping from behind with his left hand - a tough one to do. It is time.
