Just posting some FYI.

Thanks to Bruce Fenstermacher's referral to ScootAir, LLC. I found some new information, at least new to me. Scot at ScootAir LLC 502 RT 2, South Hero, VT 05486 Airport (1-802-796-3011 or Cell 1-802-233-5591) has the STC for putting a C-85-12 or C-90 in a J-3 Clipped Wing Cub. After talking to Scot, he gets $400 for the STC which also covers putting everything back to TCDS A-691 standard. Use of different props and, if your airplane is eligible, taking the useful load back to 1220 lbs.

I my opinion, it's kind of steep on price, but makes a Clipped Wing legal for two big guys and full fuel.

I'm going to post this under the modifications discussion as well.
