Cubbers,

As detailed in another post, my ASI died and I dutifully sent it in for overhaul. During the course of my impulsive problem solving, I didn't think beyond boxing the unit up, to how long my Cub would be down. It appears about 7-8 weeks is the best case scenario.

I've called quite a few individuals and local shops which have graciously offered loaner units. However, an ASI with MPH (or even both kts/MPH) indications are scarce. The units that were available were not compatible with the small compression style fitting that came out of the dash. All were newer with the AN type fitting with O-rings.

In short, does anyone have a loaner unit available? I'd be happy to rent the unit (if there is such a thing), and reimburse shipping, etc.

I've been excited to get back in my Cub during my deployment, now that I'm back, the flyable weather is quickly moving into the northwest.

Thanks,

Mike-
