My friend Gordon just flew his Cub in to Montgomery. It is a PA-12 with many mods, and he let me fly it. It is as smooth as glass, with 150 Lyc and a Borer prop.

One of the impressive things was his Stewarts Systems cover job. He is a hobbyist, and did a lot of it without all the equipment that they recommend. It looked quite good.

I will never be able to spray their stuff - my personality will not let me measure components and strain them, measuring viscosity, etc. I like to thin butyrate dope with the same measures that a good cook uses - just enough. But this airplane looks just fine.

I forgot to get a photo- I took the camera, but was just having too much fun flying it, and It slipped my mind.
