I bought out another persons project that is a bare fuselage and wings. A few of the wing ribs are going to need some work. The fuselage "appears" to be all there and in decent shape. The 65 hp Continental has fewer than 100 hrs SMOH, but hasn't ran for 20 years. The motor was stored plumb full of oil. The rest of the project is packed in several totes (instruments, hardware, cables, levers, etc). Where do I begin this long journey? How in the world can I figure out which piece requires what hardware? Feeling a lot intimidated. Seems impossible!
