What do you use to indicate a 45 degree bank in the sport cub? Brian has been teaching me to put the windshield cross bars parallel to the horizon as an indicator for 45 degree bank. It seems steeper than 45 degrees since the cross bars don't meet in the center but stop short a few inches giving the angle closer to 60 degrees? I am not debating Brian as he is a heck of lot more experienced than I am and it works well for practicing steep banks.
