Similar to the 1943 Piper factory film showing how Cubs are built, this is a 1929 film showing how Great Lakes trainers were built by the Great Lakes Aircraft Company (GLAC) in Cleveland, Ohio. A wonderful little silent film, with some nice music dubbed in as well!

I had the privilege of flying a 1931 Great Lakes 2T-1MS (Menasco) for several years. Registration NC304Y. Not a fireball by any stretch, but what a great and easy flying airplane.
