Did anyone else experience this or is it my computer.  When I checked in it was not available. It seems to be OK now.

Yea, the hosting company was moving servers...

Dear Customer,

In order to continuously improve our services and provide best quality
hosting package to our customers, we will be performing a maintenance
starting on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 2:00:00 AM - 4:00:00 AM.

Date:Saturday, October 3, 2009
Time:2:00:00 AM
Duration: 2 hours

We have taken up the responsibility to provide you with reliable and stable
service, therefore we will transfer your website(s) to a new machine. It has
been tested extensively and has so far shown excellent performance. We
believe the new machine is much more reliable and will deliver stable and
fast service for your website.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE TRANSFER:

** The transfer of your account will be performed on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 2:00:00 AM - 4:00:00 AM.
** There will be no information loss during the transfer.
** SiteGround strongly recommends postponing any planned activity on your
hosting account 1 day before and during the transfer until it is officially
completed, so that all data will be kept intact.

To reduce any risk, the maintenance window will take place during the hours
when the server is the least loaded. While we do not anticipate any impact
on your overall website performance, short service interruption may appear.
We would like to kindly ask you not to post tickets regarding the transfer.
In your Customer Area --> Get Support --> Server Status Check, we will post
regular updates about the progress of our work.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We do our best to offer
you the highest possible quality of service.

Best regards,

The SiteGround Team

The hosting service is upgrading some software on the 19th, so if there is a problem with the site, that is the cause..

As part of our effort to provide the best hosting environment to our customers, we have scheduled an upgrade of the MySQL service on the server hosting j3-cub.com.

The MySQL service will be upgraded from version 4 to version 5. This will alllow you to take advantage of the new features that come with MySQL 5, most important of which are stored procedures, triggers, data dictionary and views.

Since all modern applications work best with MySQL 5, we don't expect any problems after the MySQL service upgrade.

However, some older applications require MySQL 4 in order to function properly. If you have such application(s) on your account and you wish to continue using MySQL 4, we kindly ask you to notify us about this by, opening a ticket from your Help Desk. This way we will know that your account must remain on a server running MySQL 4 and we will arrange a free migration of your account to such a server.

The MySQL service upgrade is scheduled for :

19th of October, 2009.

If you want your account to remain on a MySQL 4 server, please make sure you notify us about this before

19h of October, 2009.

You can contact us by posting a support ticket in the cPanel related problems category.

Please do not reply to this email.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support!

Best regards,
The SiteGround Team

Sorry for the site being down for two days.  Embarrassed

Good news, Plenty of members visiting and posting, Bad news the bandwidth gets used up and we reached our limit. I paid an extra charge to get us back up and running. Site hosting is expensive.

If more of the site users would make a small contribution occasionally, I'm sure Will would very much appreciate it.

Will,  My OPINION only.  Screw the contribution only stuff and run this site like a business. You can still have  the fuzzy feelings and some extra pocket padding that comes with the folks that wanna give more.  The Super Cub site I think is very well done. On a side note I have NEVER seen any post on it with the argument that it should be free because of the persons knowledge level. I did see it here and wondered if those same folks had the GAUL to post it on SC.ORG  I would rather see the INVALUABLE info on here protected and available than for it to be free and be in a state of flux. Also please if your reading this and fly period DON'T you DARE start crying that you can't afford 20 or 30 bucks per yr. NO ONE BELIEVES YOU and to do such a thing proves weakness of character and that your a JERK!  Just my Opinion  Please don't anybody get mad Grin

PS  The search engine ALONE is worth the price of membership.

You've done a great job with this site. Sub $35.00 a year. It will let you reinvest in the site and make it even more valuable to it's members.

My 2 cents.
