    I actually like VGs, if appropriately located.BUT they can kill you dead if you don't
    understand how they work. You mean like a tip stall (severe wing drop on either side) ?

    My PA-20 was a 1950 year model with narrow gear and really a good flying and landing airplane
    after the rebuild . Like Bob said so manyof these old planes have been dinged they can be out
    of alignment...

    I am used to safety wiring on our Breezy (pusher prop) and it is no big deal to run some wire
