Martin, if it is possible to duplicate your compass card holder I would like one for my L4H in
England. It is now a couple of years since it was restored and I need to change a couple of
    side windows ...

Scott 2000 parts are still available from Univair but as we say on this side of the pond they
are a bit pricey. I did manage to source all the parts I needed for the tailwheel for my L4H
    restoration f...

I can highly recommend the Trig transponder with the remote head unit. I intend to also fit the

off for 10 when they published the most recent edition in 2006. It is still available but
    expensive. Air B...

Appendix A of the Peperell book cross refs the Military Serial No with the Piper No.
    10339-10537 are L4A's and 10538-to 11838 are L4H.

  • Posted in thread: L-4B for sale in Germany on 01-07-2015 at 09:42 PM
A seller can ask any sum. L4s do not come up for sale very often in Europe but I cannot imagine
even a recently refurbished one in the UK being worth more than 30,000. ($45,000 or 38,000
    Euros). I pu...

I'm pretty sure on the L4H the mag switch is on the right-at least it is in mine. Dave D

The photos out of Fighting Grasshopper showing the stencils illustrate that there is no single
correct way as the lower set are justified to the left apart from crew weight.
