Carry your own headsets if you prefer them. The airlines won't mind.FWIW, I have flown with the
old cheap first model light speed ANR headsets for the last 20 years. I changed them to DC gel
    ear seals...

Avflyguy---Your 2 cents appreciated! Worth a ton more than that to me. ALL input and photos
appreciated from everyone. I don't have an ego big enough to bluff myself. I have pushed my

I had a 65 hp J-4 based at 7200' in Northern NM for a few years. Climb was slow, but it will

they may have had a Stearman out there as well, but my memory might be a bit fuzzy on that.
    There is a soar...

Continental also sells this as an option when you buy new cylinders (O-200). I wasn't aware
there was a field modification to this type of seal, although it doesn't surprise me. When you
    buy new cylin...

I have a friend that has an O-200 with the Don's Dream Machines mod to a -8 accessory case. I
haven't looked at the logs, but it is supposed to be very low time and could probably be had
    for a reasona...
